It doesn’t get easier than this healthy breakfast taco, ready in just five minutes. Kale or arugula will work just as well if you don’t have spinach on hand. If you instead want an egg that is too hard and notice that the egg is browning too quickly, add a tablespoon or two of water to the pan to help the egg steam and set the yolk more quickly.

Greek edamame salad

Edamame adds protein to the classic Greek salad: romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, feta and olives. Serve with toasted pita brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with dried oregano or za’atar.

For this 20-minute dinner, we turn to all the bagel seasoning to create a crispy, flavorful crust on the salmon. A creamy garlic-yogurt sauce and chopped cucumber add balance, making this five-ingredient dish special enough for guests but easy enough for a weeknight.

Cottage Cheese and Berry Bowl

This no-sugar-added berry bowl highlights the natural sweetness of thawed mixed berries, with a touch of vanilla for added flavor. This is a simple snack that you can make in advance, but add the cereal just before serving to keep it crunchy.

Apple with almond butter and cinnamon

With a pinch of cinnamon, this healthy snack goes from basic to brilliant.

High-Protein Overnight Oatmeal with Strawberries and Almond Butter

These creamy oats are packed with protein thanks to Greek yogurt and almond butter, making them a satisfying on-the-go breakfast. Prepare them the day before for an easy and nourishing start to the day. Although oats are naturally gluten-free, they can become contaminated during processing. If you follow a gluten-free routine, be sure to purchase oats specifically labeled gluten-free.

Lemon-Tahini Couscous with Chicken and Vegetables

When you’re craving pasta in no time, couscous is your best friend! The little pasta balls cook in minutes and absorb all the water so you don’t have to worry about draining. A mix of sautéed vegetables and leftover chicken, it’s a quick and tasty one-bowl meal that’s perfect as an easy dinner recipe.

Cucumber and chicken salad

These Lemon Garlic Bubble Beans offer a comforting dinner that comes together in minutes. Creamy beans soak up the lemon-garlic broth, which is drizzled perfectly over a piece of toasted whole-wheat bread. For a little more style, finish the dish with a drizzle of good olive oil or, for a creamier version, a dollop of Greek yogurt.

Tajín Shrimp Tacos with Coleslaw

Greg DuPree

Tajin, a Mexican chili-lime seasoning, adds a spicy, acidic twist to sweet and mild shrimp. Opt for a low-sodium chili-lime seasoning, or improvise by combining chili powder, a little lime zest and a healthy squeeze of lime juice. Look for pineapples that are already peeled and cored for quicker preparation.
