15-year-old dies after being thrown from car in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, in crash, police say
UXBRIDGE, Mass. —
A 15-year-old boy died after being thrown from a car during a crash in Uxbridge, Massachusetts, police said.
Emergency crews responded to 685 Chocolog Rd. in Uxbridge for a report of an accident involving a Ford Focus.
The car struck a utility pole and left the roadway, police said.
The victim, an Uxbridge High School student, was found ejected from the car and was later pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital.
Two other occupants were also in the car. It is unclear whether or not they were injured in the accident.
According to a social media post from Uxbridge Police, the 680 block of Chocolog Road was closed for a period of time Saturday evening due to the crash.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them at 508-278-7755.
