2 passengers identified after medical plane crashes off Nantucket
(AP) – The passengers of a missing medical plane that crashed off the coast of Nantucket over the weekend were identified Monday as a mother from Bermuda and her son, according to the Associated Press.
Marilyn Lavonne Bean, 66, and Sergio Wayne Lottimore, 41, were aboard the Gulfstream G100 when it crashed, Bermuda police said. Four crew members were also on board the plane.
The crash happened around 1 a.m. Saturday as the plane was traveling from Bermuda to Boston, the Associated Press said. All those on board are presumed dead, said Latitude Air Ambulance, the company that owns the plane.
Bermuda Police, in a statement posted on Facebook, said the investigation into the crash was being led by the United States National Transportation and Safety Board in conjunction with the Canadian Transportation Safety Board.
