Neither Bryant nor Schwartz has a criminal record, their attorneys said.
“These are egregious allegations,” Beck said, addressing Osborne before setting bail. Bryant was given $50,000 bail, Osborne was given $225,000 bail for all three charges, and Bowman was given $175,000 total bail for his three charges.
All three men were ordered to surrender their U.S. passports and have no contact with the alleged victim or witness. Beck informed Bowman that the order included any form of contact or mention on social media.
Mace’s House Speech
The allegations add to a stunning stream of accusations that Mace relayed to a national audience of viewers online from the House of Representatives on February 10, 2025. She accused her ex-fiancé and three of his male associates of recording incidents of sexual exploitation, voyeurism and assault involving multiple women without their knowledge. She too was a victim, she said.
In her nearly hour-long speech, she described the four men as “predators” who collaborated to victimize large numbers of women and keep records of some of their alleged actions.
Mace said he found evidence in the form of images linked to cell phones and hidden cameras, as well as a large number of images taken of women without their knowledge.
“The purpose of my speech tonight is to ensure that these women will never be forgotten and that the men who hurt them will never again be allowed to get away with it or hide,” Mace said at the time.
All four men named by Mace strongly denied this when contacted subsequently by The Post and Courier.
That night, SLED also confirmed to the newspaper that it had an open and active investigation dating back to December 14, 2023, into allegations of assault, harassment and voyeurism after being contacted by the U.S. Capitol Police.
“The subject of the investigation is Patrick Bryant,” SLED said in a written statement.
SLED said it conducted several interviews and executed several search warrants in the case, which it described as “complex.”
