Like other Triangle speakers, the Borea BR05 features a front-facing bass reflex port system. This gives the listener more flexibility to place the speakers closer to the walls without affecting the sound.
As is the case with its other speakers, the BR05 has a “retro-chic” design that combines wood-toned speakers with solid-colored front panels and matching speaker rubbers. The speakers are available in five different finishes: Light Oak, Black Ash, Chestnut, Green and Frosted White.
The BR05 comes with a tilt base that tilts the speaker back 8 degrees, improving the soundstage, while having a minimal footprint. However, Triangle sells compatible stands in black or white, if you don’t have a shelf to place them on.
