The top NFL insider revealed that even he was starting to be surprised by some of the news surrounding Jonathan Taylor possibly leaving the Indianapolis Colts.

The Indianapolis Colts finally became sellers at the NFL trade deadline. Owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon launched a rebuild by firing general manager Chris Ballard. They have since traded DeForest Buckner and Quenton Nelson, and rumors suggest Jonathan Taylor will be next.

Taylor has been their big star for a few years now as one of the best running backs in the league. While it has been suggested that they might not move away from him, that seems more likely as the trade deadline gets closer. And apparently, interest in his acquisition is growing around the league as well.

Adam Schefter says team interested in Jonathan Taylor surprised him, predicted trade deadline would be a ‘curve ball’

Trade speculation is probably one of the most popular activities in the world of sports. Fans love to discuss what moves might happen, even though most of them usually never do. And nothing shakes up the league’s ecosystem like an unexpected trade.

While discussing what fans should expect at this deadline, Schefter hinted at a potentially shocking trade for JT.

“I think there will be some twists and turns. Like last night, I’m on the phone with people. I’m hearing names I’ve never heard before. Never heard,” Schefter said. “I got a team text this morning about Jonathan Taylor. I’m like, ‘This team, really? Wow.’ So that’s the point. This is the biggest and most exciting part of the deadline. »

The deadline is Tuesday, November 10, which means teams have about four days left to determine if they can improve in some way. As we head into the second half of the regular season, things are starting to get pretty exciting.
