Benjamin Satterley, who played Pac on All Elite Wrestling, has died at the age of 40, the company announced Sunday evening.
Satterley competed in his final match at the All Out pay-per-view against AEW National Champion Andrade at the NOW Arena in Chicago on Saturday night.
“Benjamin Satterley defined excellence, as a beloved husband and friend to his many loved ones, + in his wrestling knowledge, skill, unparalleled athleticism, professionalism, consistency + dedication to the sport he loved and traveled the world to pursue it,” AEW President Tony Khan wrote on X. “May Ben rest in peace.”
Satterley, who had been with the Death Riders faction since late 2025, lost the match and later received a handshake from Andrade in the ring. He appeared later that night, getting involved in the main event clash between Death Riders leader Jon Moxley and AEW World Champion Will Ospreay.
No cause of death was given.
“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac,” the promotion said in a statement. “A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations around the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.
“Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and has held multiple AEW Championships and participated in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”
Satterley, a perfect combination of freakish athleticism and strength, also performed in WWE as Neville from 2012 to 2018. He was introduced for his high-flying acumen as “The Man Gravity Forgot,” known for his signature Black Arrow corkscrew-senton splash.
He joined AEW in 2019 after about a year on the indies following his WWE release. Satterley was initially part of the Death Triangle faction with Rey Fenix and Penta before finding his way to the Death Riders.
He wrestled with a tougher, more physical style in AEW, often using his front-facelock Brutalizer submission to beat his opponents. The British star was the first AEW All-Atlantic Champion and a two-time AEW Trios Champion.
In WWE, he was a two-time WWE Cruiserweight Champion, NXT Champion, and two-time NXT Tag Team Champion.
AEW recently mourned the death of Andy “The Butcher” Williams at the age of 48 on September 9 after their former wrestler collapsed and hit his head during a match for an independent promotion in Pittsburgh.
