Angel Reese Makes History as Dream Beat Valkyries in Game 3 of WNBA Finals, Box Score Stats, Highlights
The Atlanta Dream are two wins away from a WNBA championship.
Led by yet another double-double from Angel Reese, the Dream beat the Golden State Valkyries 97-71 Wednesday night in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals.
Here’s a look at the performances of the main players in the game:
Reese, once again, did a little bit of everything for the Dream in the victory.
Her teammates were matched with energy.
Atlanta got off to a fast start, jumping out to an 8-1 start before smoking Golden State in the second half, outscoring the Valkyries by a 51-31 margin.
And it was truly a team effort on both sides. The Dream finished with 26 assists, shot 41 percent from three (9 of 22) and forced 15 Golden State turnovers. They also attacked, getting to the free throw line 29 times and turning it into 20 points.
The outcome was all but sealed once Reese nailed a three (she ultimately nailed both of her attempts from deep) – the Dream simply doesn’t lose if she connects from deep:
Atlanta will now look to take a 3-1 series lead on Saturday at home (1 p.m. ET, NBC).
