Apple begins bringing forward iPhone Duo delivery dates
Apple has started increasing estimated delivery dates for some customers who pre-ordered the iPhone Duo in countries including the United States and Japan.

In the United States, for example, popular YouTuber Matt Gonzalez said today that his iPhone Duo pre-order initially showed a delivery estimate for December, but Apple’s online store now shows him an earlier delivery estimate between November 20 and 30. He ordered a Star White model with 512 GB of storage.
A handful of other customers have seen their iPhone Duo delivery estimates increase by several weeks, according to comments shared by MacRumors forum members in the device’s US pre-order thread. For example, two customers with an initial delivery estimate of December 1-8 are now seeing delivery from November 16-23.

In Japan, a customer took to social media to announce that their iPhone Duo is now expected to ship on October 24, just one day after the device’s launch. They said their initial delivery estimate was December 3-10.

Reports from customers in the United States and Japan continue to surface on our forums and across social media platforms, so be sure to keep an eye out for your pre-order. Apple has a history of under-promising and over-delivering on new product delivery dates. So it’s no surprise that shipping estimates are starting to improve.
iPhone Duo pre-orders began on Friday, with shipping estimates on Apple’s online store for newly placed orders pushed back to January 25 within the first 30 minutes of pre-orders beginning. In a statement released later Friday, Apple said demand for the iPhone Duo was “simply extraordinary.”
The iPhone Duo launches this Friday, October 23.
