ASUS is finally building an Intel Arc graphics card after two generations on the sidelines, and it’s the full 32GB Big Battlemage Arc Pro B70
ASUS launches its first Intel Arc graphics card, powered by the Big Battlemage GPU, and aimed at the lucrative AI segment.
The demand for AI is so high that ASUS just rolled out its first Intel Arc Pro graphics card based on the Big Battlemage GPU
It’s easy to say that Intel’s Arc Pro GPUs haven’t benefited from the processing of major graphics card manufacturers, as they offer support to NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. ASRock and Acer are the two big names that offer Intel Arc GPUs, then we have smaller brands like Sparkle and several new brands that only make Intel Arc products.
In the early days of Intel Xe GPUs, ASUS was one of the first to roll out a DG1 card with a passive cooling solution. But two generations of Intel Arc have passed and we haven’t seen Arc graphics cards like ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, etc.
Well, it seems things have changed and ASUS has decided to offer its first Intel Arc graphics card. The graphics card is based on the Intel Big Battlemage “BMG-G31” GPU and is called ASUS UGen Arc Pro B70. Yes, this is the full Arc Pro configuration based on the top Xe2 chip with 32GB of memory.
The ASUS UGen Intel Arc Pro B70 is a dual-slot design featuring a fan-style cooler and four display outputs (1x HDMI + 3x DP). The card has a maximum TBP of 310W and offers 367 TOPS of AI computing. The card supports multi-GPU functionality and can be quad-paired for up to 128 GB of VRAM.
On the product page, ASUS places a heavy emphasis on the Arc Pro B70’s AI performance, which makes sense since the card was designed for AI and workstation use cases. The Intel Arc Pro B70 offers a lot of value compared to the competition, as we mentioned in our review. And given the growing demand for AI systems, ASUS adding an Intel Arc variant in addition to the NVIDIA RTX Pro and AMD Radeon AI PRO models in its lineup is no surprise.

Some of the main features of this graphics card include:

- ASUS UGen Intel Arc Pro B70 32GB with Intel Xe2 architectures (32Xe-Cores, 256 XMX AI motors), delivering up to 367 TOPS (INT8) at 310 W TBP
- 2-slot form factor optimized for multi-GPU density
- Upgrades to a 4-card system with 128 GB of total VRAM, enabling models up to 120 B settings
- Compatibility with the main AI frameworks and tools: vLLM (XPU), llama. cpp (SYCL/Vulkan), Ollama, PyTorch (IPEX), OpenVINO, oneAPI and Vulkancpp (SYCL/Vulkan), Ollama, PyTorch (IPEX), OpenVINO, oneAPI and Vulkan
- Compatible with the ASUS Zenni brand

The company also shared various benchmarks and test results of the UGen Intel Arc Pro B70 32GB graphics card in AI workloads and test suites such as MLPerf Client, Agentic AI, as well as scalable local AI results, with up to four of these cards.

Although pricing is not mentioned, Intel Arc Pro B70 32GB variants typically sell for between $1,299 and over $2,000 USD.

This may seem like a high price, but in comparison, it’s better than the options available. It’s nice to see ASUS expanding its lineup to include Arc Pro GPUs, which could lead to it creating future Arc designs if Intel continues to offer discrete GPUs in the future. There may well be an ASUS Crescent Island D-Series GPU in the future.
