Earlier reports suggested that the affected classrooms were in a two-story portion of the building, but Peshawar police chief Mian Saeed later confirmed that classrooms on three floors had been demolished. There were about 30 students in the upper class, 40 in the middle class and 45 on the lower floor, he said.
