A balloon got stuck in power lines as it landed south of Balloon Fiesta Park on Saturday.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A balloon got stuck in power lines as it landed south of Balloon Fiesta Park Saturday. The two people inside were not injured.
The Albuquerque Fire Department said crews responded just before 8 a.m. after the balloon fell near power lines near the Journal Center.
Firefighters found two occupants inside the balloon basket when they arrived. The basket was on the ground and stable.
After crews confirmed the lines were down, they removed both occupants from the pod.
AFR said crews assessed both occupants and found they were uninjured.
