Brandi Glanville’s father, Guy Glanville, has died at age 77.
“My dad is dead, I’m gutted, I hate this life right now,” the 53-year-old former reality TV star wrote via X on Saturday alongside a broken heart emoji.
Brandi did not reveal Guy’s cause of death and her spokesperson did not respond for comment.
The former model had a rocky relationship with her father, including periods of estrangement, after they appeared on “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition” in 2018.
“My dad and I, we left the show in a big space and then when the show aired, we haven’t spoken since,” Brandi told “Entertainment Tonight” shortly after the show’s season premiere.
“You know, he’s never done television before, and I warned him in advance, ‘They’re not going to be able to show everything we shot. They’re going to show the highlights, so you have to write notes and understand that these are going to be the highlights of what we shot, and don’t get angry, you’re going to get angry again,’ and eventually he did.”
The “Celebrity Big Brother” alum added that they haven’t spoken, but said she “loves him a lot.”
“He’s everything. I just leave him in his corner. Because you know, you know me, I get a little aggressive,” she shared.
Brandi and Guy eventually reconciled and he even defended his daughter during her feud with fellow Bravo girl Denise Richards.
“My daughter can be many things, sometimes a jerk, but she’s not a liar,” Guy said in a video shared via Instagram at the time, according to Us Magazine.
Earlier this year, Brandi revealed that her father wasn’t doing well.

The “Drinking & Dating” author is also dealing with serious health issues related to unexplained issues affecting her face.
The TV personality recently shared ultrasound footage on Instagram, claiming her doctor “saw something alive” and “moving” on her face during the exam.
“If I can’t find a doctor to take this face off, I’m going to do it myself,” she said in the video.
Brandi said she suffered from “highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, coccidioidomycosis (valley fever), Demodex dermatitis, and mononucleosis.”
She also said she had a fungal bump on her face that she was preparing to have removed.
In February, Brandi blamed her health issues on the rupture of her 20-year-old breast implants, which she said leaked silicone into her lymph nodes.
Although the Bravo star said her medical bills total seven thousand dollars a week, she recently said she felt “embarrassed” that a GoFundMe was set up in her name by a friend.
