Brewers vs. Dodgers live updates, lineups, where to watch: Shohei Ohtani starts with Dodgers’ season on the line as Brewers look to sweep NLCS
The NLCS continues Thursday, with the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Dodgers facing off in Game 4, with first pitch scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. The Brewers enter the series with a 3-0 lead and have a chance to advance to the World Series with a win.
After giving up a leadoff home run by Jackson Chourio in the top of the first inning of Game 3, Dodgers star pitcher Blake Snell regained control, striking out nine before things fell apart in the top of the seventh.

Snell walked Andrew Vaughn, then gave up back-to-back homers to Jake Bauers and Garrett Mitchell to bring the Brewers to 4-2 before being pulled. Rōki Sasaki and Justin Wrobleski each gave up an earned run in relief before the Brewers rolled to a 6-2 victory.
The Dodgers made a significant lineup change for Game 4, moving designated hitter Shohei Ohtani back to first place after moving him back to sixth in the batting order amid his recent slump.
In a must-win game for Los Angeles, right-hander Tyler Glasnow (5-2, 3.53 ERA) gets the start, making his second postseason start after facing the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS. The Brewers will start left-hander Shane Drohan (7-5, 4.19 ERA).

The Brewers are officially back. Jake Bauers takes a four-pitch walk to bring in a runner, another entry in his NLCS MVP record. A disaster for the Dodgers, and counting.

William Contreras takes a walk to load the bases. It will depend on Jake Bauers versus Alex Vesia, who comes in to replace Evan Phillips.
If Turang scores from second, it will be the first point allowed to Phillips in 17 career playoff appearances.

Evan Phillips falls behind Turang 3-0 and the Dodgers opt for the intentional walk with the base empty. Here’s William Contreras, who can tie this game with a single.

Jackson Chourio flies away. Brice Turang is now up with two outs.

David Hamilton delivers with a ground ball to the right spot and the lead is cut to one for the Dodgers after this cathartic home run from Shohei Ohtani.
That will do it for Glasnow, who is out for Evan Phillips as the Brewers are about to begin their third stint in the order.

Frelick steals second base, which is historically not difficult to do against Glasnow.

Sal Frelick draws a walk with one out, but the Dodgers still hold on to Glasnow with David Hamilton expected.

Tyler Glasnow is back for round five. It remains to be seen how many batters he has left, as Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has indicated he could be removed as soon as after Cooper Pratt’s first at-bat.

Brice Turang makes a great play from shortstop territory on a Kiké Hernández grounder to end the fourth inning. Dustin May is at 44 pitches in three innings of work.

Garrett Mitchell grounded out to end the inning with no further damage. Yet this game suddenly looks different for the Dodgers, who might need more than one breakthrough to fight another day.

Christian Yelich is out, but pushes Bauers to third with two outs. Alex Vesia is now warming up for the Dodgers.

This could go wrong. Bauers hits the Brewers’ second straight double and the Dodgers’ lead is cut in half. Like some other Dodgers starters in this series, Glasnow looked dominant and then was knocked down in a hurry.
