Yankees general manager Brian Cashman explained for the first time why Aaron Judge was not included on the Division Series roster.
“He’s just not ready. Ultimately, he wasn’t physically capable of it,” Cashman told a few writers. “I know what he would like to do. … It’s the warrior in him. But physically, he wasn’t a choice.”
Judge’s inability to handle the bases or play the outfield ultimately made the choice easy.
