Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams ‘Monday Night Football’ Odds, Picks & Predictions: Best Bets, Player Props
Nearly five weeks into the season, we know one thing about the Super Bowl LXI game: There are many possible options.
So when we say the Monday Night Football matchup between the Bills and Rams could be a Super Bowl preview, it’s because they are currently the betting favorites (both at +350) to win the AFC and NFC, respectively. However, this exacta is still as long as 20-1.

If you’re not willing to count on the 4% chance we see these two, on this field, on February 14 (or maybe you have other plans that day?), get yourself a box of chocolates for a game we hope to love.
Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles (-3.5, 54.5)
To say the AFC favorites, at 3-1, could be 0-4 would be disingenuous since Buffalo opened the doors to the new Highmark Stadium by blowing the Lions’ doors in Week 2. However, Detroit’s defense hasn’t really improved its position in the league since Thursday. Meanwhile, the Bills were one dropped interception away from losing in Week 1, played like a team that should have lost in Week 3 (turning the ball over five times), then actually lost to the Patriots last week.

As usual, the Bills are scoring, with Josh Allen already at seven rushing touchdowns, but after the first two games where they ranked first in EPA/Adjusted/Weighted Offensive Play, they fell to 19th in both Weeks 3 and 4. That’s concerning, considering the offense was the relative certainty for Buffalo.
The revamped defense is what we’re supposed to wait for before deciding if the Bills are the Super Bowl contenders as the futures markets claim. Any way you slice it in advanced metrics, Buffalo sits in the bottom quarter of the NFL so far and is going on the road for the first time since the christening of its new home.

The Rams are a difficult team to evaluate in advanced metrics because their already high air mile count cannot be ignored, having gone to Australia, back home to Los Angeles, to the high altitude of Denver in a short week, then across the country to Philadelphia.
A jet-lagged effort against the 49ers, wilting just enough in the second half against the Broncos and a sloppy start in the rain against the Eagles may poison the numbers, but the Rams are still top five in the same metrics we referenced above. Los Angeles’ defensive numbers have taken the hit, however, as the Rams are in the bottom half of the league.
Bet on the Los Angeles Rams to Cover the Spread at Sports Betting
Although the addition of Myles Garrett has yet to take shape, at least Aaron Donald returns Monday night, and the Rams are otherwise healthy on that side of the ball.

Playing with a little extra rest, with whatever might have lingered after the flight to Australia and back in their rearview mirror, in just their second home game of the season, we should expect the fully formed Rams offense to score one more touchdown than the Bills.
Bet: Rams -3.5

RB Ty Johnson on 10.5 receiving yards (-115, Bet365)
After missing the first two games of the season, third safety Josh Allen returned against the Chargers with four catches for 50 yards, and that doesn’t include a long catch-and-run touchdown that was called back for a holding penalty.
Then last week, Ty Johnson had two catches. With one going 9 yards, if the other had gone up to 2 yards it would have reached that total. Last season, Johnson only had one reception for negative yardage, and that was against the Patriots, and even that didn’t stop him from going over 10.5 – something he did in 10 of the last 12 games in 2025.

WR Khalil Shakir, longest pass reception under 19.5 yards (-116, DraftKings)
Shakir had been an afterthought in the Bills’ offense this season, with the addition of DJ Moore, the emergence of Keon Coleman and star player Dalton Kincaid. Shakir caught 15 passes in total, and only one of them went for more than 20 yards. That’s a 50% success rate, ahead of a 7-for-16 pace Shakir had without those three passers ahead of him in Allen’s pecking order last season.
TE Tyler Higbee for 22.5 receiving yards (-111, DraftKings)
Terrance Ferguson was poised to be the Rams’ pass-catching priority before falling apart early in Week 3 in Denver. Since then, Matthew Stafford, who has a plethora of tight end options on the Rams roster, has used veteran Tyler Higbee as this group’s primary pass catcher. Higbee had eight catches for 62 yards and five for 67. In what should be another game requiring offensive urgency, he should get at least half that yardage against the Bills.

Anytime TD scorers
RB James Cook (-120, FanDuel)

If Cook were on another team, he might lead the NFL in rushing touchdowns, but Allen ran behind Dion Dawkins for most of his seven scores, which skewed the likelihood of Cook scoring in our minds.
Including a receiving touchdown in a game where he didn’t score one, Cook scored in nine regular-season games last season. That would equate to a fair price of just over -110, but when you add in his three games with a touchdown so far this season, and take into account that a game with such a high total should mean a higher probability of scoring for everyone, there is some value here. Even more so if Allen is already dealing with nagging injuries that make him quicker to hand it off to Cook near the goal line.
RB Ty Johnson (+700, DraftKings)
Let’s make Johnson our long shot against the Bills, especially if Allen finds himself in a rare state of a drag game against the best opponent Buffalo has faced this season, forcing him to throw more.

WR Davante Adams (+100, FanDuel)
Puka Nacua returned last week, but that doesn’t mean Davante Adams isn’t still the Rams’ best red zone target.
Last week, in the rain, there were no touchdown passes for any of the Rams. But against a porous Bills pass defense, the lineup dynamic that led Adams to a 9-5 record in “anytime” touchdown runs in 2025 returns. He scored twice in the only home game the Rams played.
WR Tutu Atwell (17-1, DraftKings)
With so much attention needed on Nacua and Adams, there should be one or two cuts in coverage that Stafford can take advantage of, so it’s just a matter of which tertiary receiver is the target on deep shots.

At the start of the season, it seems that Konata Mumpfield (+700) is the one whose shots are most affected by Nacua’s availability.
Tutu Atwell, acquired in late August after signing with Miami in the offseason, appeared in two games, hitting just two of three targets, but as Sean McVay said during the trade, Atwell “provides an element of speed” – something that is most likely to appear in the fast lane at SoFi Stadium against the Bills.
