Caitlin Clark’s first-half effort in Fever’s Game 2 win over the Aces took its toll.

“To be honest, I threw up everything in my stomach at halftime,” Clark told Prime Video after the victory. “I was so tired. It wasn’t because I didn’t feel good or anything. I was just gassed.”

Clark led Indiana to a 99-89 victory over Las Vegas, dropping 27 points with 15 assists and seven rebounds.

Clark joked, “Let’s see again at halftime of the next game,” as the Fever look to win the deciding third game against the Aces.

Clark then explained why she felt the need to vomit.

“Yeah, it’s disgusting,” Clark said. “I think I was just really tired, and then sometimes I drink too much water.”

Clark went into detail, saying it was an “incredible amount of vomit” and apologized “to anyone sitting near that trash can.”

During Tuesday’s performance, Clark became the first player in WNBA history with at least 25 points and 15 assists in a game.

Clark highlighted Fever’s increased toughness in the second game of the series.

“I thought we were just soft in the first game and I thought tonight we played a lot harder,” she said. “I’m really, really proud of this group.”

Game 2 in Indianapolis was not without controversy, with A’ja Wilson’s interaction with a Fever fan earning her a technical foul.

Game 3 between Fever and Aces kicks off on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.
