The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly finalizing a deal to trade wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Harrison is reportedly inactive for Sunday’s game against Detroit while details of the trade are finalized.
Schefter added that a trade wouldn’t be made until after Sunday’s games, while Rapoport added that the Cardinals had fielded calls involving Harrison in recent weeks.
Arizona SportsJohn Gambadoro reports that no deal for Harrison will be finalized until Monday, after the wide receiver passes a physical.
The Texans are reportedly interested in Harrison, according to Schefter and Rapoport.
The 2024 No. 4 overall pick currently ranks fifth on the team in targets and has just five catches for 85 yards and a touchdown.
General manager Monti Ossenfort said Friday that wide receiver remains very much a part of Arizona’s plans as they prepare for the Detroit Lions.
“I think at this time of year, and throughout the year, there’s a lot of talk. There’s a lot of stuff that’s written out there. I think at the end of the day, Marv is a big part of what we do,” Ossenfort said.
