Caviar launches the ultra-luxurious iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo Black Edition without a camera

Caviar, the company known for wrapping standard Apple hardware in expensive materials, has announced its new Black Edition collection. The lineup includes heavily modified versions of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and foldable iPhone Duo. The main hook of this release is a completely obfuscated design and, for a few specific models, the physical removal of the camera modules.

Design details

The collection includes several different tiers, with the Supersonic iPhone 18 Pro and Ultimate iPhone Duo standing out from the rest. Both devices completely eliminate the rear camera bumps and replace them with a flat, uninterrupted panel made of aerospace-grade titanium.

Caviar has also disabled the front cameras at the hardware level. According to the company, these cameraless designs are intended for users working in secure corporate or government environments where camera-equipped devices are prohibited.

Without the lenses, the back of the phone is just a flat sheet of metal. The Supersonic model uses a satin finish to reduce reflections, while the Ultimate iPhone Duo features vertical brushing that changes from black to graphite depending on the lighting. Both feature a flush, blacked-out Apple logo that blends into the chassis.

If you’re serious about taking photos with your phone, there are four other models in the lineup: Versus, Titanium, Signature, and Prestige. These retain the standard Apple Camera hardware, but replace the factory glass backs with materials like black crocodile leather, exposed titanium screws, and 999 fine gold plating.

The Signature and Prestige models specifically use gold V-shaped inserts to contrast with the black leather and metal. The designs are simple and rely mainly on the different textures of the materials rather than bright colors.

None of these exterior changes change the internal processing specifications, battery, or software of base iPhones. You are paying strictly for the custom chassis and limited production.

Pricing and availability

Caviar only makes 19 units of each model. Prices start at $10,560 for the leather-backed Versus iPhone 18 Pro and go up to $10,770 for the camera-less Supersonic version.

The foldable iPhone Duo models are priced higher, starting at $13,410 for the Titanium version and topping out at $13,990 for the camera-less Ultimate Edition. Each device comes in a personalized lockable box with a gold-plated commemorative coin.
