CBP executives excluded from Trump’s ad buy decision

WASHINGTON — Top Customs and Border Protection leaders were left out of the decision to use their agency funds for a national ad buy featuring President Donald Trump and learned about it through a news report, according to a Department of Homeland Security official with direct knowledge of the decision-making process.
