CBS Expands Its Unscripted Series Lineup With Three-Show Series Orders: A Reboot of Undercover boss hosted by Drew Carey and new series Stacks of moneyhosted by Mike O’Malley, and Millionaire 24 hours a day (working title) of Big brother executive producers.
Target seasons, premiere dates and additional details will be announced at a later date, CBS announced Wednesday.
Based on the British series, Undercover boss originally premiered on CBS in 2010 and aired for 11 seasons, most recently in 2022. The reboot is in pre-production with Carey, who hosted the CBS show. The price is right since 2007, as host.
Stacks of money is in post-production. The game show filmed in Portugal is the latest unscripted American series to be filmed abroad in order to cut costs.
Millionaire 24 hours a daye, which has been in development at CBS for over a year, is also in pre-production.

Undercover boss
The Emmy Award-winning series returns for its 12thth season with fan-favorite TV personality Drew Carey joining us as host and an updated take on a format beloved by today’s audiences. Business leaders hide within their own organizations to gain direct insight into their people and operations. Undercover boss is produced by Studio Lambert. Stephen Lambert, Jack Burgess, Abigail McCarthy, Niall O’Driscoll and Tim Harcourt are executive producers.
STACKS OF MONEY
An exciting game show hosted by Emmy nominated actor Mike O’Malley (Heels, survivor’s remorse), where six competitors face off in a quiz-based battle with huge stakes. Players answer questions to earn uniquely shaped blocks, then work their way towards a golden line. One wrong move can cause everything to fall apart. Stacks of money is based on a format developed by Eureka Studios Group Pty and Seven Network Limited. Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Rikkie Proost, Sonya Wilkes, David Tibballs, Ves D’Elia and Ed Egan are executive producers.
MILLIONAIRE 24 HOURS (working title)
Executive producers of Big brother, Millionaire 24 hours a day is an epic series that brings together the most talented players and puts them to the ultimate test: 24 non-stop hours of social strategy and physical competitions where one player is guaranteed to walk away with a million dollar prize. Only the best of the best will be invited and they will be challenged to play a brand new game where literally every second counts. In this time bomb of strategy and gameplay, they will face off in game-changing series where thinking quickly, assessing threats and acting under pressure is essential.
