Chad Lowe, his wife and children make their first public outing since Fiona’s death at his nephew Matthew’s wedding
Chad Lowe, his wife, Kim Painter, and their daughters made their first public appearance since Fiona’s death at Matthew Lowe’s star-studded wedding.
According to exclusive photos obtained by Page Six, the “Life Goes On” actor sat next to his eldest daughter, Mabel, 17, Painter, and their youngest child, Nixie, 10, to watch Matthew tie the knot with Emily Markus in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Saturday.
On the other side of Chad sat actor Chris Pratt.
Chad, 58, looked dapper in a blue suit with matching tie, while Painter, 52, wore a black dress for the nuptials.
Nixie looked pretty in a pink dress with spaghetti straps and her big sister wore a sleeveless cream dress which she then covered with a black jacket.
The family of four sat two rows behind Chad’s older brother, Rob, 62, who was seated with his wife, Sheryl Berkoff, and their other son, John Owen Lowe.
Several other stars also attended the ceremony – officiated by Gwyneth Paltrow – including Cameron Diaz, Adam Levine, Katy Perry, Zoe Saldaña and Maria Shriver.
The wedding took place almost two weeks after Chad’s second daughter, Fiona, committed suicide on September 29. She was 13 years old.
In a statement to Page Six, Fiona’s family said they were “deeply heartbroken” by the loss.
“She was adored by her sisters and deeply loved by her parents,” the family continued. “In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating to our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”
Following Fiona’s death, Mabel shared a heartbreaking Instagram post about her late sister.
“I love you so much Fiona ❤️ I wish your short time here was easier and I hope your mind is at ease now,” she wrote.
“I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew how much,” the teen added.
