Champions League LIVE: Maresca speaks, Guardiola to watch Man City, Emery and Iraola press conferences
“More difficult situation for fans”published at 12:56 BST
Man City v Paris St-Germain (Wednesday, 8:00 p.m. BST)
Manchester City
Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca on the mood in the dressing room after the win at Anfield:
“Afterwards, we were very happy on the pitch, sharing time with our fans. It was probably more difficult for our fans than for the players or for me.
“It’s more complicated because if I was an Arsenal or United fan and you’re a City fan, I can say ‘my friend, you’re a cheat’ or that sort of thing. So probably it’s been more difficult for them.
“But again we were happy at the end of the match. In the dressing room we were very happy, we were celebrating because we know how difficult it is at Anfield away, that’s why we were very happy.”
