Chrishell Stause’s Ex Jason Oppenheim Reacts to ‘Selling Sunset’ Star’s Shocking Breakup With G Flip
Chrishell Stause’s ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim showed his support for the “Traitors” alum following her shocking split from G Flip.
After the “Selling Sunset” star took to Instagram on Monday and shared a heartbreaking video about the breakup, saying she felt like “a little failure,” Oppenheim took to the comments section to highlight her.
“I’m so sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love. You are both wonderful people and sometimes things just don’t work out, but that certainly doesn’t mean anyone has failed,” the Oppenheim Group chairman wrote.
“There’s probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it may take some time to process. But know that you are very loved and I’m always here for you no matter what. ❤️”
Stause, 45, revealed she was dating the famous real estate broker, 49, in July 2021.
In December of that year, however, they separated due to their “different desires regarding a family.”
“Although Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and will always love and support each other,” Oppenheim said at the time.
“She was the most amazing girlfriend I ever had, and it was the happiest, most fulfilling relationship of my life.”
When Stause left G Flip in May 2022, Oppenheim remained close friends with his ex and embraced his new partner. The exes also continued to star alongside each other in “Selling Sunset.”
The reality star and the musician, whose real name is Georgia Flippo and uses their pronouns, got married in May 2023, even though it wasn’t legal.
“It was probably the best day of my life, and we had so much fun, and it was just super beautiful and super cute,” G Flip, 33, told People at the time of the secret Las Vegas ceremony.
The couple then renewed their vows in the musician’s home country of Australia in July 2024, then held a medieval-themed wedding ceremony at a Los Angeles castle in July 2025.
Last year, Stause revealed she was having difficulty with her vitro fertilization (IVF) process in hopes of having a baby with G Flip.
“There are other alternatives, but this route had to be tried first due to timing. So if it’s meant to be, it will be. If not, pivot,” Stause wrote on Instagram at the time.
Despite their plans to start a family, Stause announced their breakup Monday in a candid social media upload.
In the video, the “Days of our Lives” alum said she and her ex “agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other.”
“It’s not difficult for me, because I’m in love with this person,” the Netflix star explained, noting that she doesn’t have “all the information and reasons” for the breakup.
Stause — who was previously married to “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021 — vowed she would “definitely never do that again.”
“It’s hard. It’s painful,” she admitted. “I’m a sweetheart. I swing big. I miss that. Or maybe I don’t miss you. These are the lives and seasons you’re supposed to have with people, and I had four incredible years with G. So maybe it’s not a miss.”
