College football scores, live updates: BYU upsets Notre Dame, Miami survives 2OT thriller against Florida State
Week 7 looked to be the biggest weekend of the 2026 college football season and, boy, did it deliver. There were two games between top 10 teams and six between teams ranked in the AP Top 25, but the unranked teams stole the show, especially in the SEC.
Florida rallied to beat No. 7 Texas 27-24 in Austin, where Arch Manning struggled for the second straight game, then Auburn beat No. 1 Georgia with a game-winning basket from Alex McPherson as time expired in Athens.

In another upset, No. 14 Tennessee manhandled No. 6 Alabama in the “Third Saturday in October” rivalry game and unranked Florida State gave No. 3 Miami all it could handle as the Hurricanes narrowly escaped with a controversial double-overtime victory.
The day began with a Big Ten thriller as No. 4 Ohio State held on to beat No. 5 Indiana 19-15, ending the Hoosiers’ 22-game winning streak. Indiana WR Nick Marsh couldn’t keep his feet inbounds on a would-be touchdown run in the final seconds.
Under the night’s marquee, No. 8 BYU delivered the last big surprise of the day, taking a late lead over No. 2 Notre Dame, then holding off CJ Carr and the Irish with a defensive stand to end things on the game’s final play.

The Seminoles seemed to have scored on a long TD pass on fourth-and-21, but a holding call overturned it.
Then, facing a fourth-and-31, Ashton Daniels threw it into the end zone again and it looked like WR Duce Robinson went down with the ball in the end zone, but it was ruled an interception by Miami’s Bryce Fitzgerald. It has been revised and maintained.
What a crazy ending to this one.
