The Rebels just crossed midfield as we head into the 4th quarter with Texas clinging to a 24-17 lead.

The late showdown between the Big 12’s top 15 teams has begun. The Utes will have the ball first.

Manning took a big hit and officials asked the Texas QB to sit out a game due to potential concussion symptoms. This play was a 3rd and 16, where Texas played it safe with a score. The ball goes straight to Ole Miss.

Arch Manning appears to be doing well.

The Badgers capped a 13-play, 59-yard drive with a 1-yard Ryan Schwendeman TD run. This should pretty much seal the victory with just over 5 minutes left.

Trinidad Chambliss hauls in a 6-yard TD pass to Horatio Fields and it’s suddenly a one-score game in the third quarter.

Texas 24, Ole Miss 17

Lacy left the field with an apparent arm injury. He has already suffered from several injuries this season.

The Badgers have the ball at 40 with another series of downs and only 13 minutes remain in a compressed possession game. We’ll see if Wisconsin can pull off the upset.

Arch Manning was hit from behind in the backfield and the ball fell. After bouncing around for what seemed like an eternity, Ole Miss’ Kam Franklin fell on it in the end zone for a touchdown.

Things just got a lot more interesting in Austin.

Texas 24, Ole Miss 10

We’re back for the second half and the Longhorns will have the ball first. Arch Manning has 171 passing yards and 30 rushing yards, along with a pair of touchdowns. Trinidad Chambliss only has 63 passing yards with a few picks.

Will Ole Miss be able to bounce back and make a game of it?

We’re not sure many saw this coming. Arch Manning feels good and Trinidad Chambliss looks a little lost as the Longhorns took a three-touchdown lead into the break.

Texas will have the ball to start the third quarter.

The Badgers opened the second half with another touchdown as Colton Joseph hit Chris Brooks Jr. for a 16-yard TD pass.

Wisconsin 17, USC 7

The drive that was extended by the fake punt yielded no points as Ole Miss’ effort hit a wall inside the Texas 5-yard line. Trinidad Chambliss’ fourth-down pass was intercepted by Texas’ Rasheem Biles.

We are under the 2 minute mark in the second quarter.

The Rebels had nothing to do offensively, but they just pulled off some trickery on special teams with just under 4 minutes left in the first half as the punter scrambled for a first down.

They really need some points before halftime to stay in this game.

Wisconsin has deployed an extremely Wisconsin game plan so far and it’s working. The Badgers didn’t have much more possession, but it was a defensive battle, and that played into the hands of the home team.

The Longhorns are rolling early. They got another touchdown on a short run by Michael Terry to cap a 6 play, 62 yard drive.

Texas looks in order tonight, even after Cam Coleman gave up the TD.

The Badgers regained the lead on a short run by Bryan Jackson. It was a 13-play, 75-yard drive that cost Wisconsin time. There is only 1:51 left in the first half.

Wisconsin 10, USC 7

Is this a good matchup for the Texas offense? It’s still early, of course, but Texas hasn’t been this good on offense in a long time.

Arch Manning isn’t lacking in confidence early in this one. After fighting for a long first down, he just hit Ryan Wingo on a 50-yard bomb for another touchdown and Texas is doing just fine.

The Trojans were the first to enter the end zone and it was on a short pass from Jayden Maiava to Taniela Tupou.
