Following the release of the new book by sextuplet Collin Gosselin, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhoodon October 13, his sister Hannah said the two had not been in contact for some time.
“I’ve decided to take a step back from the current situation,” she wrote on her TikTok Stories on Wednesday, “considering that I haven’t lived with my dad in over a year and haven’t spoken to Collin in almost a year.”

She noted that “I have had a relationship with my mother and other siblings for several years now. And that is the only thing I am making clear. Beyond that, I will not comment on Collin’s behavior growing up or my experiences growing up with him.”
Hannah, 22, and her family, including siblings Collin, Aaden, Alexis, Joel and Leah, as well as older twin siblings Cara and Mady, starred on the reality show between 2007 and 2009, when the titular couple announced their split. The series was renamed Kate Plus 8 and aired new episodes until 2017.
All of the children lived with Kate until 2018, when Hannah and Collin moved in with their father.
While promoting his book on Thursday The viewCollin disputed his sister’s comments.
“All families are complicated,” Collin said. “I’ve seen Hannah several times over the last year. Me, myself, my dad, at our house. I have pictures if you want to see them.”
He continued, “All families are very complicated, and this statement sounds a lot like my mother’s words, especially the last part. What I believe is that Hannah is caught in the middle – and no one deserves that. I know what it feels like to have to fight to have a relationship with your siblings. I don’t have one with my siblings, and I know how much that hurts. Not only is she caught in the middle, but I believe my mother is taking advantage of her finances or Hannah’s relationship with our siblings about Hannah.

In his book, Collin tells other stories about his famous family, like his allegation that the show’s network partnered with Dr. Phil McGraw to offer Jon and Kate $2 million to stay together and continue the show.
He also accused his mother of abuse, which she denied.
Collin and Hannah are set to appear alongside Jon in an upcoming Netflix documentary, the streamer announced Wednesday.
