The father wanted for allegedly pushing his ex-girlfriend and their 5-month-old daughter from a 15th-floor balcony brought her flowers that day to reconcile after being accused of two domestic violence attacks, sources say.

Angel Carrasco, 31, allegedly lost his temper and flew into a rage when the makeup attempt went south and pushed Nathaly Ramirez, 23, to his death as she hugged the couple’s baby, little Angel Novalty Carrasco-Ramirez — leaving the tragic toddler fighting for life at Jacobi Hospital, police sources told the Post.

Carrasco then fled the scene, leaving behind a bouquet of flowers that he had apparently hoped would help soothe the couple’s troubled relationship. He is now the subject of an intense manhunt.

Angel Carrasco is wanted by police in connection with a homicide in the Bronx. NYPD

Carrasco had been charged twice with assault earlier this year in separate domestic arrests, including third-degree assault on Jan. 5 for allegedly slapping Ramirez and leaving her bruised after she complained that he was chatting with an ex-girlfriend, the sources said.

He was charged in another domestic incident with Ramirez three days later, when sources said he was charged with burglary for breaking into her apartment and waiting for her — but that case was later sealed and further details were not immediately available.

According to the sources, he was also accused of sending threatening text messages to an ex-girlfriend.

Carrasco also has at least two other arrests on his record, including separate arrests for false identity and marijuana possession in 2016, with additional cases sealed, the sources said.

Cops went to the apartment building at 2550 Olinville Ave. around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday to discover the tragic scene — and released a wanted poster Wednesday for the suspected killer.

Haunting photos from the crime scene show a baby diaper and blanket on the ground outside the 18-storey building, hours after the tragic incident.

“I heard someone shout, ‘Jump!’ It was a male voice,” said building tenant Robin Mendzies. “Then I heard a loud thud and a woman moaning, ‘No, please no!’ It seemed like she was begging for something inevitable not to happen.

Asked if she thought she heard Ramirez’s last words, Mendzies replied: “I thought that this morning.”

The sources said Carrasco is the father of the injured baby, who remains in stable condition at Jacobi Hospital, where his mother was pronounced dead after the horrific incident.

A memorial for the murdered woman stood outside the building Wednesday, with white, blue, pink and yellow candles and bouquets of roses and carnations, along with a photo of Ramirez.

“At the last moment of her life, she was protecting her daughter,” Dominique Rosado, a high school friend, told the Post. “That’s what it means to be a mother. She was a good mother.

Rosado urged other victims of domestic violence to “get help” before it’s too late – and had a message for Carrasco: “Get him out of here.” Get him off the street. »

Ramirez, described by neighbors as a “very sweet” and loving mother, was a graduate of Bronx Leadership Academy High School and studied at Baruch as a psychology major, according to her Linkedin page.

She worked at Lishawn Consulting in Manhattan, where a representative described her as “a rising star” at the firm and said she was “very hardworking, showed tenacity and dedication to pursue her career goals.”
