Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Have Fun in Brazil Despite Crushing Loss, Browns Fans Fight and Sad Michigan Fans
Let’s settle in for another edition of Monday Screencaps after the emotional rollercoaster of a weekend in which Michigan fans were served a dose of karma by the football gods only for me to then suffer through the football gods, making Joe Burrow fumble.
Speaking of the football gods causing an emotional roller coaster, how about the way this match ended in Brazil. The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders were looking at overtime against the Ravens with a 31-31 tie. And then the ‘Boys decided to kick the ball out of the end zone. The touchback automatically puts the ball back on the 35.
No time has passed outside the clock. This gave the Ravens enough time to run deep routes to the end zone for Tyler Loop to score a 56-yard field goal for the win.

All I can think of is Jerry Jones saying how “dangerous” a rich old man is, only for Jerry to hire coaches who don’t think twice about those circumstances. The real tragedy here is that the Cowboys cheerleaders had to make that long flight home last night with an L after pouring their hearts out for the Brazilians. So sad.

• As disgusting as this ending was for Cowboys fans, think about where I am emotionally this morning. The Cleveland Browns have a higher probability of making the playoffs (52%) than the MY Bengals (50%). It makes me want to vomit.

Screencaps Jr. cross-country update: he’s officially in the 11:20 mark
- I’m happy to report that Team Screencaps Jr. remains undefeated this season after another incredible performance on Saturday. The boys finished with 27 points with an average time of 11:28:71 for the top five runners.
- Screencaps Jr. ran an 11:25:99 (5th place) after a great kick in the final 150 meters. It’s a personal best and was good enough to place 19th in her school’s record book. In the same race, a teammate set a new school record with a winning time of 10:44.43 and another teammate finished in 11:25:69, after a superb sprint against Screencaps Jr.
- Now things are getting serious. There are three races left to go. If the boys win their championship game on Oct. 12, it will allow them to compete in the state championships where they were runners-up a year ago.
- Yes, I remember a little over a year ago I asked you about cross country. I had no knowledge of the sport. Now I’m looking at strategies. Search the weather reports. Course conditions. Ms. Screencaps is in charge of the maps and where we are going to be located. If I’m going to miss college football Saturdays, it’s at least fun cross country events where parents aren’t complaining about their kids not getting playing time.
Hooters Screenshots Readers Report: It’s not great in Iowa right now
– Gérard says: A few of my buddies and I stopped by the Davenport Iowa Hooters last Thursday evening. There were 10 customers (all over 50) and 2 waitresses in the entire establishment. Davenport is part of the Quad Cities which has 380,000 inhabitants! The wings were better than I remembered, but there’s no way Hooters can stay open when Thursday Night Football is on and only 10 people are there.

The Packers were playing and one guy was rooting for them and another guy had to watch the Indiana Fever because he kept mumbling about Stephanie White. It was just weird.
