Davante Adams (hamstring) expected to miss 6-10 weeks as injuries pile up for Rams | Latest NFL News, Analysis and Updates
Injuries pile up on top of Los Angeles Rams losing 2-4.
Wide receiver Davante Adams suffered a hamstring injury during Los Angeles’ 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday and is expected to miss six to 10 weeks, head coach Sean McVay told reporters Monday.
Adams, 33, had another stellar season for the Rams, hauling in 30 receptions for 480 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 16.0 yards per reception, which would be the best of his career.
McVay announced a litany of injuries to the Rams besides Adams.
Defensive tackle Poona Ford will miss the remainder of the season with a torn triceps muscle, as will recent kicker Blake Grupe with a knee injury. DT Kobie Turner (groin) is headed to injured reserve.
Myles Garrett, who has been on IR since undergoing knee surgery following the team’s Week 1 loss in Australia, will also not begin practicing this week.
Around The NFL will soon know more about Adams and the Rams.
