Robert Kelker-Kelly, the actor best known for playing Bo Brady on “Days of Our Lives,” has died of arteriosclerotic heart disease, the St. Charles County medical examiner confirmed to Fox News Digital.

The medical examiner ruled his death natural.

Kelker-Kelly, who also worked as a commercial pilot, experienced pain in his chest and left arm shortly before his death at age 62, according to a St. Peters Police Department report obtained by Fox News Digital.

His wife, Allison Kelly, told police she picked her husband up from Spirit of St. Louis Airport around 7:30 p.m. on October 3. During the ride home, Kelker-Kelly complained of pain in his chest and left arm and asked him to stop so he could vomit, according to the report.

Kelly asked her husband if he should go to the hospital. He refused, instead asking her to take him home so he could lie down.

After arriving at their Missouri residence, Kelker-Kelly changed clothes and went to bed. He continued to experience pain and asked his wife to get him an aspirin, according to the report.

When Kelly returned from the kitchen, she found her husband unconscious and not breathing.

St. Peters police and the St. Charles County Ambulance District responded to the home shortly after 8 p.m. Paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but Kelker-Kelly was pronounced dead at 9:09 p.m.

According to the report, Kelly told investigators that her husband had no known health problems and was not taking prescription medications. She also said he had not suffered any serious injuries or undergone surgery in the past year.

“Mr. Kelly reportedly complained of chest pain shortly before losing consciousness, and the circumstances appeared consistent with a medical event,” police said.

The St. Charles County medical examiner’s office released Kelker-Kelly without requesting further investigation, according to the report.
