The Samsung Galaxy S26 trio benefits from various discounts of up to €735 off for the Ultra model. This means that the Galaxy S26 Ultra starts under €1,000 despite the recent price hike. The Galaxy S26+ starts at €850, while the Galaxy S26 starts at less than €700.
As usual, we’ll direct you to our reviews and articles for a more in-depth look. The reviews are linked under each phone and here are the versus articles: Galaxy S26 Ultra vs S25 Ultra, Galaxy S26 Ultra vs iPhone 17 Pro Max, Galaxy S26 Ultra vs Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26+ vs Galaxy S25+.

Moving on to Google’s 2026 flagships, they have lower discounts, making them more expensive than their Galaxy rivals. The Google Pixel 11 Pro XL costs at least €120 more than the S26 Ultra, while the price gap between the Pixel 11 Pro and the vanilla S26 is €250. Or maybe you consider the vanilla Pixel 11 to be the S26’s true rival – even then the Pixel is much more expensive.
If you need help choosing between the large and small models, we have a Pixel 11 Pro XL vs. Pixel 11 Pro article to help you. For the smaller 6.3-inch models, we have the Pixel 11 versus the Pixel 11 Pro and the Pixel 11 Pro versus the Pixel 10 Pro.

Foldable
Unfortunately, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold isn’t part of the Prime Day sale, so this is a purely Samsung vs. Motorola fight. And no, iPhones rarely get discounts like this, so even if the iPhone Duo was released (which it isn’t yet), it wouldn’t be here.
We start with the hot new form factor for 2026, the large foldable represented by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8. Even with a solid $385 discount, it’s still quite expensive – as are most foldables.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a continuation of the Z Fold7 form factor. Is a wide foldable format or a book-shaped foldable format better for you? Check out Galaxy Z Fold8 vs. Z Fold8 Ultra to help you decide. We also have an article detailing the upgrades over the Z Fold7.

The Motorola Razr Fold is cheaper than the Z Fold8 Ultra while offering 6.6-inch coverage and 8.1-inch interior displays comparable to Samsung’s flagship. However, its Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is of the non-Elite type (unlike the Galaxy). The Moto Foldable is thicker (10.1mm vs. 8.9mm) and heavier (243g vs. 215g), but at least it comes with a larger battery (6,000mAh vs. 5,000mAh) and faster charging (80W wired and 50W wireless vs. 45W/25W). The Razr Fold has a 50MP (1/1.28″) main camera, a 50MP 3x/71mm telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide versus 200MP main (1/1.3″) camera, a 10MP 3x/69mm telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 has a massive 42% discount on the 256GB model. It features an Exynos 2600 chipset and a 4,300mAh battery with 25W slow wired and 15W wireless charging. It has a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide, as well as a 10MP selfie camera.

The Motorola Razr 70+ costs about the same and while that price gets you double the storage, the phone has an older Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset compared to the Exynos 2600 in the Z Flip8. The battery is a bit bigger and faster with a capacity of 4,500 mAh, 45 W wired charging and 15 W wireless charging (compared to 4,300 mAh, 25 W/15 W).

High-end phones
The Poco F9 Ultra offers the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with a budget of less than €800. It also has a 6.9″ 185Hz Dolby Vision OLED display and an 8,050mAh battery (100W/50W charging). It has a 200MP 1/1.56″ main camera, a 50MP 5x/114mm periscope, and a 50MP 102° ultra-wide.

The Poco F9 Pro features a stripped-down version of the chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V series. It has a smaller 6.59″ OLED display (Dolby Vision 185Hz) and a 6,330mAh battery (100W/50W). It has a 200MP 1/1.56″ main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens 2.5x/60 mm and an ultra-wide 8 MP at 112°.

The Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro offer an alternative to the Poco F9 duo. They are powered by the Dimensity 8500 Ultra and Dimensity 9500 respectively. They feature 6.59″ and 6.83″ screens paired with 6,500 mAh and 7,000 mAh batteries respectively. The Pro has the better cameras with a 50MP 1/1.31″ main, a 50MP 5x/115mm periscope and a 12MP 120° ultrawide. The F9 Ultra has even better cameras. We have a Xiaomi 17T vs 17T Pro article to help you choose between the two T-series phones.

Mid-range phones
The Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max cover the more affordable side with prices under €300 and under €400, respectively. Here’s how they compare. Like the 17T, they come in small and large sizes – 6.59-inch and 6.83-inch screens with 6,500 mAh and 8,500 mAh batteries, respectively. The Poco X8 Pro Max uses the Dimensity 9500 (which is actually based on the Dimensity 9400), while the Pro has the same Dimensity 8500 Ultra as the 17T. The 17T has the better cameras, however, with a 50MP 1/1.55″ main (vs. 50MP 1/1.95″), a 50MP 5x/115mm telephoto lens (vs. none), and a 12MP 120° ultra-wide (vs. 8MP). The 17T costs a lot more, so the X8 Pro isn’t easy to dismiss.

The Redmi Note 17 and Note 17 Pro don’t have the €200 cameras that made their predecessors famous. They have 6.99″ and 6.83″ screens respectively – yes, the vanilla model is bigger. However, the Pro has a larger battery with 8,340mAh capacity and 67W charging, compared to the Note 17’s 7,700mAh battery with 45W charging. The Note 17 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and has expandable storage, while the Note 17 Pro uses the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and lacks the microSD slot.

vivo just revealed the V80, but the vivo V70 remains a solid choice, especially with a 19% discount. It has a 6.59-inch display and a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Its triple camera includes a 50MP 1/1.56″ main, a 50MP 3x/73mm telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide. The phone is powered by the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 as the V80.

Okay, the price seems to fall into the above category, but the iPhone 16 Plus is really a mid-ranger – a two-year mid-ranger at that. It’s the latest Plus, so the latest cheap model with a larger 6.7″ screen (well, cheap, it’s relative). It uses the Apple A18 chipset and has 48+12MP cameras.

The highly repairable Fairphone 6 is also on offer. Note that this is not the Plus version, so it only has 8 GB of RAM. Still, this phone comes with a screwdriver and the promise that you can easily replace the parts at home.

Entry-level phones
The Samsung Galaxy A17 5G has not been spared from a price increase, it is not only the S series that suffers. However, the Prime Day discount more than makes up for that. The phone is basic, but gets the job done – 6.7″ 90Hz 1080p+ display, an Exynos 1330 chipset with expandable storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired-only charging, and a 50+5 MP camera setup. The phone will receive six OS updates, but keep in mind that it’s a 2025 model launched with Android 15.

The Motorola Moto G67 is about the same size with its 6.78″ screen and its price is also about the same. However, this one is a sharper 1272 x 2772 pixel display with 10-bit color and a 120Hz refresh rate – compared to the Galaxy’s base 1080p + 90Hz display. The Dimensity 6300 is not amazing, even compared to the Exynos 1330, but the cameras are quite similar with a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide one. There is even a 32 MP selfie camera. The battery is 5,200 mAh with 30 W charging.

Smart watches
The Apple Watch SE 3 uses the older S10 chip with 64GB of storage, just like the Series 10 and 11. There’s no ECG, but it has a heart rate reader and is waterproof to 50m.

Samsung’s new Watch9 series isn’t part of the discounts, so we’re turning our attention to the 2025 Galaxy Watch8 and Galaxy Watch8 Classic. That’s still the latest model with a rotating bezel if that’s your thing. However, these use the older Exynos W1000 chip. Both have an ECG.

The 4G version of the Google Pixel Watch 5 also has satellite SOS – it’s a good backup in case you lose your phone (or if your phone doesn’t have satellite connectivity in the first place).
