Gabon and football are in mourning. Striker Aaron Boupendza died on Wednesday April 16 at the age of 28 after falling from a building in China where he was living.

Trained at Girondins de Bordeaux (France), Aaron Boupendza first played in France (Pau, Gazélec Ajaccio, Tours). He then played for Hatayspor (Turkey), Al Arabi (Qatar) as well as FC Cincinnati (United States) and Rapid Bucharest (Romania) before joining Zhejiang FC in January.
