Hayden Panettiere’s Ex Vladimir Klitschko Requests Temporary Guardianship of Daughter Kaya

More than a month after Hero the actress died tragically at the age of 36, her ex requested temporary guardianship of their 11 year old child Kayaclaiming he did so to ensure their daughter would gain ownership of her late mother’s estate.
In court documents filed Sept. 24 and obtained by E! News, Klitschko’s legal team stressed that it was “urgent and essential” that Panettiere’s ex be named his daughter’s guardian to ensure he is eligible to file for probate of her estate.
“Without immediate appointment for these purposes, there is a high probability that assets belonging to Hayden’s estate will be lost, damaged or dissipated before a duly appointed personal representative can be in place to protect them,” the filing states. “This directly and negatively affects Kaya, as she is the only heir entitled to Hayden’s entire probate estate.”
Klitschko’s lawyers argue in the filing that without his immediate appointment as Kaya’s guardian, no one is able to “gather, protect and account for the assets” of Panettiere’s estate. »
