Sheffield’s finest Def Leppard have announced a mammoth run of North American shows for 2027. The dates begin March 2 at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA, and conclude four months later at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN.
“2027 just keeps getting better!” the group said. “We’re excited to announce our new 2027 tour with Goo Goo Dolls and special guest The Struts – who will take over North America next spring with an evening of non-stop hits!
“You can have first access to pre-sale tickets starting this Monday, October 12 at 10 a.m. Tickets will go on sale next Friday, October 16. Make sure to buy yours early because it will be an unforgettable moment!”
One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to cancer research and treatment organization City of Hope, which worked with Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell in her fight against the blood cancer Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Campbell was first diagnosed in 2013 and said he was “completely in remission” last year. In August, however, he revealed that the cancer had returned.
“In the winter of 2023, I got really scared about what was happening and the rate at which it was happening,” he said. “And I realized at that moment that I had to do a transplant with a donor. That was my only hope to survive. And that’s what I did. I did it on January 25. I did a transplant with a donor. Unfortunately, it didn’t last. So the cancer has came back. And I’m continuing treatments to manage it.”
Def Leppard, who completed the European leg of their Live 2026 tour in July, will play a one-off concert at Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida next week, and will travel to Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Colombia and Argentina next month. Full dates below.
The band also released a David Bowie cover “Hero”, which appears on a rarities disc in their upcoming Volume 4 box. This is a new mix of a recording previously used as the band’s intro tape on stage.
