Deion Sanders and Colorado lose third straight
After a 2-0 start to the 2026 season, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes lost their third straight game.
The last loss came at home against No. 10 Texas Tech, 29-7.
Colorado led at halftime, 7-3. The Red Raiders retired after intermission.
The Buffaloes recorded turnovers on four straight possessions.
Colorado scored on its first drive of the game and didn’t score again after that.
Isaac Wilson, the brother of NFL quarterback Zach Wilson, started at quarterback over Julian Lewis. Wilson threw three interceptions on the night.
For the Buffaloes, the season-opening victory at Georgia Tech is just a memory. Next up for Colorado are games against No. 13 Utah and No. 19 Oklahoma State. Which means 2-3 could become 2-5.
If the current trend continues, one wonders if Deion will return for a fifth season in 2027.
