The XPS 16 Creator Edition brings Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform to Dell’s XPS lineup. It joins other RTX Spark laptops such as the Asus ProArt P16 and is aimed at creative work and local AI tasks.
We previously covered the XPS 16 Creator Edition when Dell first revealed the RTX Spark-powered laptop at Computex 2026. The company has now confirmed its retail configuration, pricing, and availability.
The XPS 16 Creator Edition uses an 18-core Nvidia N1X chip with 5,120 GPU cores, along with 32GB of unified LPDDR5X memory and a 512GB PCIe SSD. Nvidia’s RTX Spark platform scales up to 20 CPU cores, 6,144 GPU cores, and 128GB of unified memory.
It comes with a 16-inch 3.2K Tandem OLED touchscreen. It has a resolution of 3,200 x 2,000 and a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The display supports HDR True Black 600, covers the full DCI-P3 color gamut, and has a Delta E of less than 2. Dell also claims that it is Pantone verified.
The laptop is 17.8 mm thick and weighs approximately 2.02 kg (4.45 lb). Dell uses an aluminum body made by CNC machining, as well as a glass touchpad.
The port selection includes three USB4 ports with DisplayPort 2.1 and Power Delivery, as well as HDMI 2.1b, a full-size SDXC v7.1 card reader, and a 3.5mm audio jack. On the wireless side, the XPS 16 supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0.

Like other RTX Spark laptops, the XPS 16 uses a unified memory architecture that allows the CPU and GPU to access the same memory pool. This configuration can benefit workloads that require sharing large amounts of data between the CPU and graphics hardware.
The XPS 16 is also entering the market alongside other RTX Spark creator laptops, including the Asus ProArt P16 and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI. Asus has already launched its 16-inch model globally with a 20-core Grace CPU, 6,144-core Blackwell GPU, 128GB of unified memory, and 2TB of storage.
The XPS 16 is slightly heavier than the ProArt P16 at 1.77 kg (3.9 lb). Dell’s 99Wh battery is also slightly smaller than the ProArt P16’s 99.9Wh unit.
Compared to the Asus ProArt P16, the Dell panel has a lower maximum resolution and HDR brightness. The Asus model offers a 3,840 x 2,400 OLED display with HDR brightness up to 1,600 nits.
Pricing and availability
The Dell XPS 16 Creator Edition is currently available for pre-order at Best Buy for $3,799.99, with the first units expected on October 16. Dell says it will also sell the laptop through its own website. The Asus ProArt P16 starts at $2,799.99 in the US, making it $1,000 cheaper than the XPS 16.
The listed XPS 16 configuration comes with 32GB of unified memory and 512GB of SSD storage. Dell has not yet released pricing for higher-spec configurations or for other regions.
