Diddy rushed to hospital from federal prison after medical emergency: sources
NEW JERSEY (TNND) — Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly rushed from the New Jersey federal prison where he is being held Saturday after suffering a medical emergency.
Sources at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution confirmed to TMZ that Combs was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of a head injury.
Authorities said he was conscious and talking when he was taken back to the jail. They did not say how he injured his head.
In September, Combs’ scheduled release date from prison was moved up from June 2028 to February 5, 2028. The change came less than a week after he was allegedly involved in a fight with another inmate at the federal correctional institution.
Combs was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges last year during an eight-week trial that convicted him of prostitution-related charges. He was sentenced to four years and two months in prison.
The trial exposed Combs’ private life, with testimony describing drug-fueled sexual encounters — called “freak-offs” or “hotel nights” — that witnesses said could last for several days.
Since his conviction, Combs’ scheduled release date has changed several times. Its initial release date was set for May 8, 2028.
