Dream announces sale of Game 6 of WNBA Finals after schedule change for elimination game against Valkyries
Despite the difficult start time, the Atlanta Dream announced that they have sold out their ticket inventory for Game 6 of the 2026 WNBA Finals.
The announcement was moved to 12:30 p.m. ET Thursday so the Dream and Golden State Valkyries could use State Farm Arena:
With a full house, around 17,000 fans are expected to be in attendance for the event.
The venue situation was only resolved on Monday, so fans were not informed in advance. Even in the best case scenario, an early weekday afternoon is also not an optimal window for a finals match.
Despite these two obstacles, State Farm Arena is guaranteed to have an electric atmosphere.
The Dream face a must-win situation after losing Game 5 64-55 on Monday.
To have any hope of extending the series, Atlanta needs more from stars Angel Reese and Allisha Gray. They combined to score 17 points on 6 of 20 in their last out.
Valkyries center Kiah Stokes also made her presence felt in the final. She averages 10.6 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per game.
The Dream will be in big trouble if Stokes manages to continue to neutralize Reese around the basket.
If a Game 7 is necessary, the winner will take all will take place Saturday at 8 p.m. ET at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
