Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” adds a record 24th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. A week earlier, the song alone claimed the mark.

“Choosin’ Texas” initially topped the Hot 100 in February, on its way to setting several chart records. Among his most recent honors, he breaks the record for most weeks, 19, ranked No. 1 on the digital song sales chart.
“Thank you so much for loving this song,” Langley gushed on Instagram after the song broke the record for most weeks at the top of the Hot 100. “I’m running out of hyperboles to describe how I feel.”
Elsewhere in the Hot 100’s latest top 10, Karol G hits a new personal best with “BbY WOW,” featuring Judeline and Rusowsky, rising to No. 6, and Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need.” Grand Theft Auto VI: The Albumdebuts at #9.

Broadcasts, distribution and sales of “Choosin Texas”
“Choosin’ Texas,” on SAWGOD/Columbia Records, with Triple Tigers overseeing promotion to country radio, totaled 22.3 million official streams (up 2% week-over-week), 57.9 million radio audience impressions (down 1%), and 9,000 sales (up 55%) in the United States from September 18-24.
The song remains at No. 1 for streaming songs for a 24th week; rises to No. 3 from its No. 2 peak on Radio Songs; and continues for a 19th week atop the digital song sales charts — where it surpasses 2021’s BTS’ “Dynamite” and 2020’s “Butter” for the longest reign in the chart’s history (which dates back to the mid-2000s).

Wallen revs in
Morgan Wallen’s “Last Thing You Need” debuted at No. 9 on the Hot 100. Released on September 17, it accumulated 14.4 million streams, 1.2 million audience and 5,000 sold in its first full week of tracking.
Wallen adds his 21st career top 10 to the Hot 100. Since his first, “7 Summers,” in 2020, he has the third top 10 this decade, after Drake (55) and Taylor Swift (45).
“The Last Thing You Need” comes from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Albumexpected on November 19.

Rest of the Top 10: Karol G wins the new top ranking
Stella Lefty’s “Boston” remains at its peak No. 2 on the Hot 100 and Morgan Wallen’s “Been by Now” is steady at No. 3, after debuting at its peak No. 2. Country songs (defined as releases that hit Hot Country Songs) have now occupied the top three, top four, or top five 17 times in the chart’s history, including 13 since July.
Ariana Grande’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me” sits at No. 4 on the Hot 100, after leading in its first week in June.
Tame Impala and JENNIE’s “Dracula” repeats at its No. 5 peak on the Hot 100. It tops the multi-metric Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart for a 38th week and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs for a 20th week, while also topping the Radio Songs chart for a second week (62.6 million, essentially even).
Karol G’s “BbY WOW,” featuring Judeline and Rusowsky, rises 7-6, two weeks after reaching the top 10 on the Hot 100. Karol G reaches her highest ranking with her second song to reach that level, after “TQG,” featuring fellow Colombian Shakira, which debuted at its peak No. 7 in March 2023. “BbY WOW” (the first chart entry for Judeline and Rusowsky) rusowsky) topped the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart for a sixth week.
Olivia Dean’s “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” climbs the Hot 100 chart (8-7), after reaching #5, as does her “Man I Need” (9-8), after reaching #2.
Wallen, Dean and Langley each have two songs in the top 10 on the Hot 100, while Langley closes the chart with “Be Her”, which sits at #10 after peaking at #2.
