Endgame PvPvE Mecha service forgotten after just two years, but an offline mode could save it

Synduality: echo of Ada was supposed to be Bandai Namco’s big push for a new multimedia IP: an open-world mecha game based on large-scale online PvPvE mining, set at the center of a sci-fi franchise spanning anime and other mediums. With maximum concurrent players barely exceeding 3,000 at its peak on Steam, the 2025 version didn’t turn out as the company hoped. While Bandai Namco has continued to support the game with regular updates since launch, the publisher announced this week that it will end online servers in 2027, just two years after launch.
