Experimental emulator brings Nintendo Switch games to jailbroken PS5 consoles
Some caveats apply, however. So far, the port only supports OpenGL, with no Vulkan backend designed for the PS5 side. Many frame rate numbers come from menu and title screen tests instead of full playthroughs, and games like Pokemon Legends ZA are still described as very slow with crashes at shutdown. Even so, going from nothing to playable 2D titles in a single alpha release is fast paced. Nintendo has shut down emulation projects before, Yuzu being the clearest example, so how long ProsperoEden lasts probably depends on how much attention it gets and how quickly it progresses.
