Falcons LB Kendal Daniels removed from the field on a stretcher
Falcons rookie linebacker Kendal Daniels suffered what appears to be a serious injury today against the Bears.
Daniels tackled Bears tight end Colston Loveland, and in the process, Daniels’ facemask collided with Loveland’s knee. Daniels remained on the ground and quickly obtained medical attention.
While Daniels was on the field for several minutes, his teammates took a knee and were visibly upset. Eventually, Daniels was placed on a stretcher and taken off the field on a gurney. His shirt was cut off by medical personnel on site and his neck was immobilized. He seemed conscious and was moving his hand. The Falcons quickly announced he was out of the game with a neck injury.
Daniels, 23, was a fourth-round pick by Oklahoma this year. He was born and raised in Oklahoma and played for Oklahoma State before transferring to Oklahoma in 2025.
The Falcons have now lost both linebackers who wear the green dot helmet and call the defensive plays. Daniels had been named in this role after Divine Deablo left today’s match with an arm injury.
