The wide receiver corps has already been hit by a number of injuries to key players this season. Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Ladd McConkey… The list seemingly keeps growing.
Fortunately, a few sick stars were able to return relatively quickly. The Rams’ Puca Nacua missed two games with a hip injury, but returned to his usual productivity in Week 4 with nine catches for 125 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Also back in action is Nico Collins of the Texans, who also missed two games with a hamstring injury. He couldn’t help Houston end its winless streak, but he had seven receptions for 118 yards and two scores.
Hopefully Nacua and Collins will start a new trend.
