FBI confirms ‘investigative activity’ at multiple locations in Rochester and Twin Cities
Federal and state agencies conducted “court-authorized investigative activities” Thursday at several sites in Rochester and the Twin Cities metro area.
Attorney General Keith Ellison confirmed that the office’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit executed search warrants Thursday morning at two locations: Iska Inc. in St. Louis Park and Bright Horizon Therapy in Edina. The companies provide autism-related and other Medicaid-funded services, according to the attorney general.
FBI Minneapolis spokesman Matt Vogel confirmed that the Office of Inspector General, IRS criminal investigators and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension were also involved in the investigation.
“This is an active investigation and no further details are available at this time,” Vogel said.
