FBI says it stopped teen’s plan to attack ISIS-inspired Mall of America

Federal officials arrested a Minnesota teenager Tuesday who they say was planning an Islamic State-inspired mass shooting at the Mall of America.

The investigation led authorities to a suburban Minneapolis parking lot, where they said Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, 18, tried to buy guns and ammunition from an undercover agent he thought was from the extremist group.
