Final Fantasy Resonance PS5 First Review Released, Approximate Campaign Length Revealed

The busy release schedule continues in earnest, and as we approach the end of this year with GTA 6 next month, there’s a lot of excitement for Square Enix’s next HD-2D effort, Final Fantasy Resonance.
Now, ahead of its October 22 release next week, Famitsu has released the first review of the retro RPG – and it’s a good one.
The jury of the Japanese publication retained the score of 9/9/9/9, a very respectable 36/40.
Questions have been asked about the iconic weekly’s ratings over the years, but I played Resonance for over an hour earlier in the year and was largely impressed by what I saw. Personally, I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended around 8 or 9.
According to X user Genki, who is a source of Japanese video game knowledge, Famitsu also said that the main campaign takes around 20-30 hours to complete. However, if you want to achieve 100% completion, it will take you around 70 hours.
So it looks like the story will be pretty light, but there will be plenty to sink your teeth into afterwards if you want to see everything the game has to offer.
This all seems to be positive as far as I’m concerned. We will bring you our full review soon.
