Are you going to watch Sense and Sensibility, which hits theaters tomorrow? The NYTimes review calls it “visually charming, emphasizing the wide divide between the stifling world of morals and pecking orders and the wild freedom of forests and moors” with a “looseer, more realistic feel than many other Austen adaptations, which veer toward the corseted side of things.” Sign me up.

We have a lot of overnight guests, especially teenagers, and my friend Mo (famous for having four kids) suggested we get an extra double mattress. How smart is that? Since it’s a real mattress, it’s MUCH more comfortable than an air mattress (ever again); it is light enough to be easily carried up and down stairs; and we simply slide it under one of our double beds for storage.

What delicious dinners have you made recently? We made white chicken chili (gift link) the other night and the boys devoured it. Plus, it was even better the next day for a work-from-home lunch.

Good news: Rothy’s clogs and mules are currently up to 25% off. I keep my comfy slip-ons by the door to slip on during neighborhood escapades, like running to the grocery store, walking around the block with a friend, or watching my kids do wheelies in the street (“Look, Mom!!!”).

PS More fun stuff and a tip for anxiety.
