It’s not uncommon for two different dog breeds to find love and have puppies together. Like a Goldendoodle: a mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle. But we don’t often hear about a Golden Retriever and Dachshund mix. Brian (@wildideaswithbrian) explained how it happened and even shows us some of the 11 adorable puppies.
Be warned, though; Brian’s comment might make you laugh out loud… It certainly made us laugh! So if you’re at work, you might want to skip watching this. And definitely skip the comments because they are even funnier than the video!
Brian’s video quickly went viral, racking up over 4 million views and 11,000 comments. Brian also said in another video that if he got a million followers, he would give one lucky person a free Weiner Retriever puppy. However, he only has 37,000, so he still has a way to go before he hits the million mark.

Viewers Have Hilarious Reactions to Golden Weiner Puppies
People had hilarious things to say about Brian’s video. @Nate gained almost 30,000 likes when he admitted: “My ex was also a Wiener Retriever…”
Another commenter joked: “Wiener Retrievers!!! Like your mom brought me out lol!”
Meanwhile, @Big Ang swooned: “Delicious. I’ll take 8.”
People also shared photos of their own “Golden Wieners” and other dachshund mixes, and each one was adorable. Of course, some viewers were also upset that the Golden Retriever wasn’t spayed or neutered.
Others just wanted to see more puppies. @Taurus13 spoke for all of us when they said, “I’m going to need some updates on the growth of these little Wiener-trievers!”
We look forward to regular updates to see if these little pups turn into Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, or something adorable in between!
