Google teases Fitbit Edge, confirms launch date

Google has released an official teaser for its Fitbit Edge tracker and confirmed a launch on October 12, just a few days away.
In a brief article on social networks (Twitter/X, Instagram), Google simply says:
Get an edge on your health. 10.12.2026.
It’s simple and to the point, and it says a lot without saying much at all. The teaser confirms the “Edge” branding of the new tracker, which would follow the Air in Fitbit hardware line. The launch of the Fitbit Edge is then confirmed on October 12, next Monday.
Teaser image from Google barely hints at the display we’ve seen in the leaks, while also confirming that the company’s “Canyon” color scheme will continue from the Pixel Watch 5. It’s also evident that the Edge has a metal chassis.

Other leaks detail 7-day battery life, Gemini integration, iPhone support and more for the upcoming Fitbit Edge. Pricing should be around $180, not too much above the screen-less Fitbit Air, but well below the Pixel Watch 5’s $400 entry price.
